- 2010 - Sustainability Capacity Building Program, Benchmarking Report
The ASA has, through a refined supply chain approach to sustainability and low carbon product development, worked closely with Victorian steel companies and supply chain partner industries to explore, or in some cases re-explore, opportunities to utlise EAFS. The EAFS supply chain is analysed from three perspectives;
- Energy use or "carbon footprint" associated with EAFS
- Products and potential end use applications for EAFS
- Participate attitudes to issues that impact on effective utilisation of EAFS in Victoria
- An Assessment of iron and steel slag for treatment of stormwater pollution
- Assessment of existing data
- Laboratory experimental design
- Assessment of iron and steel slag products as a treatment media
- Results and Discussion
- The environmental impact of different iron and steel slag
- Removal of contaminants from stormwater by filter media
