Attention all – this is the final call for papers for the 16^th Global Slag Conference. The event will be held in Dubai, commencing on the 23^rd April at the Le Meridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre.

The two-day event unites slag producers, technologists, shippers, traders, buyers, and users, fostering collaboration to stay updated on the latest advancements, network, and engage in business activities.

A pre-event field excursion to Green Cement in Dubai is scheduled for April 22nd, with a subsequent post-event trip to the slag-grinding plant at National Cement in Abu Dhabi on the 25th.

The conference offers excellent networking and business prospects, anticipating the participation of approximately 150 delegates associated with slag from over 30 countries.

Nominations are also open for the Global Slag Awards 2024, with applications closing on March 1^st. Awards will be presented at the conference dinner. Please note that you are able to nominate your own company or any other company that you wish!

Registration for the conference is now open. The current £100 registration discount ends on 29th February 2024, and slag association partners gain a further £100 discount on fees.
