The Concrete Institute of Australia are hosting an informal night of some light food, drinks and networking to start off the year for 2019, as well as a presentation on what’s new in concrete.

Dr. Daksh Baweja

Daksh was the lead author on the recently released CIA Recommended Practice, Z7/02 "Exposure Classifications". He will speak about how this document will make the specification of exposure class for concrete a brand new experience providing greater clarity, more cohesion, and confidence for those high-risk areas.

Senior Associate, Minter Ellison

Michelle is a leading practitioner in the legal world with respect to concrete related issues. She will speak in conjunction with Daksh about the risk areas that should be considered in the design and application of concrete structures and how Z7/02 can be used to help reduce this.
