The 2015 Global Slag Conference is returning to the beautiful tropics of Thailand. We encourage members to consider attedning this event, due to the convenient travel location for our readers. The event is expected to attract slag producers and users from Japan, China, Thailand, Indonesia, USA, India and the Middle East, as well as from around the rest of the world.

In 2014, there were many entrants from Australia for multiple awards at the Conference, Including; Independent Cement and Lime, Harsco Metals and Minerals and SCE Materials & Recycling.   James Davies, the Technical and Innovation Manager attended the conference to accept an award on behalf of SCE Materials & Recycling for the development and supply of a heavily bound pavement material (ER – MB20).
